Come join us for Spring Break Riding Camp 2010
at Rocky River Stables in Midland, NC
 
The camp week available during spring break.
April 5 - 9 from 8 am to 3 pm.

(Earlier drop off & later pick up available for additional fee.)

The cost is $300.00.
Bring a friend & you both get a $50.00 discount.
Imagine a whole week of fun with horses for only $250.00.
(Daily rate also availible)
Tell all your horse loving cousins, classmates & neighbors.

Campers will learn about & participate in the following activities:
Basic horsemanship including horse behavior, how they think & how to be safe around them
Riding, grooming, tacking, stall & trail maintenance
Horse painting (using non-toxic, washable paint)
Exciting nature hikes & trail rides
Fun crafts & games

Parents are free to come & go as they please all week. Any help is always appreciated.

We require a $100.00 deposit per child 
along with the liability release & medical form to reserve your place by the registration deadline of April 1st.

The balance is due the first morning of camp.

 Campers should bring: Packed lunch, may include extra snacks & drinks if they like. We will always have plenty to drink on hand as well. We ask parents to bring one bag of ice & one snack to share for the week. Please also bring a back pack with extra clothes, jeans, shorts (weather permitting) t-shirts, (modest clothing required, no strappy tanks or short-shorts will be allowed) hooded sweatshirt and/or jacket, sunscreen, chapstick, boot with heel for riding, riding boots preferred, waterproof boots, & tennis shoes. It is a good idea to send old clothes that you don't mind getting very dirty or stained.We must also be fully informed of any medications/allergies.

A riding helmet is required.
Tractor Supply usually has them available for a reasonable price.
